Enhancing Compliance: Trust Mechanism Training for Campu Bank Staff
Campu Bank in collaboration with the Trust Regulator, hosted a staff training session on trust mechanism and system reporting in Cambodia. Trust Regulator officials conducted the session at the Campu Bank Building, Head Office, on 29 August 2025. His Excellency Ney Sakal, Deputy Director-General of the Trust Regulator, officiated the session, which was attended by 23 staff. The insightful session provided valuable knowledge on the Cambodian regulatory framework and the operations of trust services in the country.

Cheers to 33 Years! Campu Bank Group’s Anniversary Dinner
Campu Bank, Campu Lonpac Insurance Plc. and Campu Securities (Campu Bank Group) marked their 33rd Anniversary with a dinner themed ‘Cinematic Synergy - Celebrating 33 Years of Excellence, Teamwork and Unity’ at the Premier Centre, Sen Sok, Phnom Penh, on 23 August 2025.
The highlight of the evening was the honouring of 27 long-serving staff with the Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow Legacy Award 2025, and award and cash prizes to nine high-performing branches and two individuals.

Campu Bank provides Humanitarian Aid to Displaced Families
Cambodian Public Bank Plc. stands in solidarity with and supports the Cambodian community by contributing USD10,000 in humanitarian aid in a relief appeal through the National Bank of Cambodia and the Association of Banks of Cambodia. This support was provided to the displaced families impacted by the five-day border conflict between Thailand and Cambodia in July 2025.

Celebrating Years of Loyalty and Growth
Campu Bank staff with 20 years and above service to the Bank had the honour to receive The Inaugural Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow Legacy Loyalty Award 2025 during the Public Bank 59th Anniversary Banquet 2025 held at Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre on 2 August 2025. Mr. Ong Ming Teck, Chief Executive Officer of Campu Bank, headed the list of the recipients, receiving the award from Ms. Teh Li Shian Diona, daughter of the late Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Teh Hong Piow. Her heartfelt words of encouragement resonated deeply, inspiring all staff to carry forward the Group’s legacy of integrity, professionalism, and excellent service.

Campu Bank jointly sponsors the Nodojiman Japanese Song Contest 2025
The Embassy of Japan in collaboration with the Cambodia-Japanese Cooperation Center (CJCC), and the Japan Foundation, successfully organised the ‘Nodojiman Japanese Song Contest 2025’ for the sixth time. The event, held on 13 July 2025 at the Angkor Kizuna Hall, CJCC Building in Phnom Penh, was supported by Campu Bank, with grand prize sponsorship totaling USD1,380.
The Nodojiman Japanese Song Contest is a popular amateur singing contest that showcases Japanese folk songs. It provides a platform for Cambodian students studying Japanese to demonstrate their musical talents and language skills. More importantly, it helps strengthen the solidarity between Cambodia and Japan, one of its largest foreign investors.

Campu Bank sponsors the Unity Dinner organised by the Samdech Techo Foundation for SMEs in Cambodia
Campu Bank had sponsored the Unity Dinner for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and Handicrafts of Cambodia, which was organised by the Samdech Techo Foundation to promote our PB Branding. The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, and his spouse, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, graced the event as guests of honour at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh on 27 June 2025.
The event, held in support of SME entrepreneurs, received an overwhelming turnout, with more than 5,000 participants, including government entities, business associations, financial institutions, and private sector entrepreneurs nationwide. As the bronze sponsor, Campu Bank was given a booth to promote the Bank’s products and services.

De Montfort University Cambodia 2025 Career Fair
In support of De Montfort University Cambodia (DMUC), Campu Bank participated in the ‘DMUC 2025 Career Fair’ at the DMUC Campus in Phnom Penh on 10 May 2025. The event attracted over 1,300 job seekers and provided a platform for students, employers, and industry leaders to connect. Campu Bank showcased Public Bank’s branding and products and services as well as took the opportunity to recruit suitable candidates.

De Montfort University’s Banking Insight Visit to Campu Bank
Campu Bank hosted an educational visit on 23 April 2025 for a group of 19 first-year students from Cyber Security, Computer Science, and Business Data Analytics of De Montfort University Cambodia. This educational visit enabled the students to learn more about the banking business and operations. The students went on a study tour to Phnom Penh Main Branch, the Information Technology Department, and the Campu Bank Training Centre. Bank representatives shared insights on branch operations and career opportunities, making the visit a valuable and memorable experience for the students.

Campu Bank donates USD 5,000 to the Cambodian Red Cross
In conjunction with the 162nd Anniversary of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day and the 70th Anniversary of the Cambodian Red Cross celebration, Campu Bank donated USD 5,000 for the 15th consecutive year to the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC).
Mr. Ong Ming Teck, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Campu Bank, presented the cheque to Her Excellency Lok Chumteav Pum Chantinie, Secretary General of the CRC, on 5 May 2025. The donation by Campu Bank, as a responsible corporate citizen, will enable CRC to carry out its year-long activities to help the local communities, especially those in rural areas affected by natural disasters such as floods and droughts.

Campu Bank donates to the Ta Aok High School in Kampong Thom Province
As part of the Bank’s ongoing Environmental, Social and Governance initiative, Campu Bank donated a sum of USD 5,000-00 for the renovation of Ta Aok High School situated in Ta Aok Village, Chouk Commune, Prasat Sambor District in Kampong Thom Province. Ta Aok High School has a total of 40 teachers and 856 students. This project was initiated by the National Bank of Cambodia and organised through the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), aimed to provide a more conducive learning environment for the students, with an estimated total renovation cost of USD 100,000. In appreciation of the Bank’s support, Campu Bank received the certificate of appreciation from the ABC on 27 May 2025.

Cambodian Public Bank Receives the ‘USD 2024 Straight-Through-Processing Excellence Award’
Campu Bank was awarded the ‘USD 2024 Straight-Through- Processing Excellence Award’ by the Bank of America Merrill Lynch for the eighth consecutive year, recognising its outstanding accuracy in processing payment messages. Campu Bank received the certificate of award on 11 June 2025.

Tribute to a Leader Who Witnessed Campu Bank’s Founding
The Embassy of Malaysia in Phnom Penh opened the book of condolences for signing in memory of the late Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, former fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia, who passed away on 14 April 2025. The late Tun Abdullah Badawi, former Foreign Minister and guest of honour, witnessed the signing ceremony on the establishment of Cambodian Public Bank Limited (Campu Bank) between His Excellency Tha Yao, the then Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, and our late Founder and Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Teh Hong Piow, on 20 February 1992. To commemorate this historic moment, Mr. Ong Ming Teck, Campu Bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), presented a photo of the event to Tuan Muhammad Naeim bin Ahmad, the First Secretary of the Embassy of Malaysia. Campu Bank’s management and staff expressed deep sorrow over the nation’s loss.

Campu Bank Donates to the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation
In celebration of International Children’s Day, the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation, led by Lok Chumteav Pich Chanmony, spouse of His Excellency Prime Minister Hun Manet, launched its annual ‘10,000 Riel, 10,000 People’ campaign, encouraging the public to support children in need.
Campu Bank contributed USD5,000 to the Foundation on 9 June 2025. The fund supports Kantha Bopha Hospitals, which annually provides free healthcare to over one million underprivileged children and pregnant women. Founded in 1992 by the late Swiss paediatrician, Dr. Beat Richner, the hospital network now operates five facilities across Cambodia, requiring USD43 million annually to continue its life-saving work.

Health Talk on Stress Management and Mental Well-being
Campu Bank hosted a health talk on Stress Management and Mental Well-being at its Head Office and virtually on 4 June 2025. A total of 158 staff, comprising 91 in-person and 67 virtual, engaged with specialists to learn about Major Depressive Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and available treatment options. Organised in partnership with Advance European Medicare Center (AEMC), the Bank’s panel clinic, the session highlighted the importance of mental health education and Campu Bank’s commitment to promoting healthy living.

Saving Made Fun at Campu BrightStar Day
In conjunction with International Children’s Day, Campu Bank held its 9th annual Campu BrightStar Day at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Centre on 31 May 2025. The contest aimed to promote the Bank’s BrightStar Children Savings Account in both Khmer Riel and US Dollar, while encouraging saving habits among young children. The event received an overwhelming response, drawing a record turnout of over 500 enthusiastic parents and children, including existing and new account holders. The event was a fun and memorable experience, with participants already looking forward to future Campu Bank initiatives.

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Tay Ah Lek, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) together with Dato’ Chang Kat Kiam, Deputy CEO of Public Bank, Mr. Ong Ming Teck, CEO of Cambodian Public Bank Plc. and Senior Management staff of Public Bank Group paid a courtesy visit to Her Excellency Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on 8 April 2025.
The meeting was both cordial and productive, providing a platform for open dialogue on Cambodia’s regulatory trends and macro-economic developments and the various initiatives implemented by the NBC under the helm of Her Excellency the Governor.

Cross-Border QR Payment Linkage between Malaysia and Cambodia
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Tay Ah Lek, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Public Bank, attended the launch of Cross-Border QR Payment Linkage between Malaysia and Cambodia at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 8 April 2025. It was officiated by Dato’ Seri Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Her Excellency Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).
This initiative represented a significant step in BNM’s ongoing efforts to enhance regional payment connectivity, aiming to make cross-border payments more seamless, convenient and affordable for individuals and businesses across the region. Aligned with Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship priorities for 2025 under the G20 Roadmap for Enhancing Efficiency of Cross-Border Payments. Malaysian travellers can now scan KHQR, an initiative by NBC to pay Cambodian merchants and vice versa using mobile apps from financial institutions under PayNet’s network.
Campu Bank is a partner in the above Cross-Border QR Payment Linkage, whereby customers can perform cross-border payments to merchants in Malaysia through the Bakong App and PB Engage KH Mobile App by the third Quarter of 2025. Public Bank’s customers will soon be able to use the MyPB Mobile App to make cross-border QR payments to merchants in Cambodia.

Shining a Spotlight on Campu Bank’s Leading Women
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Campu Bank hosted a special dinner reception on 6 March 2025 at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel and Residence to honour the remarkable contributions of its female staff, who have played a vital role in the Bank’s growth and success over the years. The dinner welcomed 314 staff, including 165 women.
Campu Bank currently has a significant 65% female workforce, well above Cambodia’s industry ratio of 48% for the year 2023.

Campu Bank’s Blood Donation Drive 2025
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Campu Bank in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Centre (NBTC), held a blood donation drive themed ‘Empower with a Gift of Life’ as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility efforts on 3 March 2025 at the Campu Bank Building.
Over 100 Campu Bank staff, customers, and business associates participated successfully. The campaign was officiated by Dr. Meuk Samean, Deputy Director of the NBTC, the Ministry of Health and graced by His Excellency Shaharuddin Bin Onn, Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Mr. Ong Ming Teck, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Campu Bank, kicked off the event by sharing how each blood donation can help save up to three lives. He also thanked all the donors for their incredible support in making the campaign a success. The event received widespread attention on social media and in the local press, which amplified its positive influence and outreach.

Campu Bank had the honour of welcoming His Excellency Shaharuddin bin Onn, Malaysia’s newly appointed Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, and his delegation for a memorable courtesy visit to the Bank’s Head Office on 3 March 2025.
Mr. Ong Ming Teck, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Campu Bank, provided an insightful overview of the Bank’s impressive growth journey. He also shared the enduring legacy of the late Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Teh Hong Piow, Founder and Chairman of Public Bank, whose visionary leadership led to the establishment of Campu Bank in 1992. Today, it has grown into one of the largest commercial banks in the country!

A strong partnership took centre stage on 15 December 2024 as Campu Bank and AIA (Cambodia) Life Insurance Plc. gathered for the ‘Campu-AIA Business Kick Off 2025’ session. Hope of Life’ Charity Event
In a heartwarming gesture of support, Campu Bank and Campu Securities Plc. contributed generously to the ‘Hope of Life’ charity event organised by the Cambodia Securities Exchange Co., Ltd (CSX) on 26 November 2024. The event, held at the Orphan Branch Center in Phnom Penh, was aimed at raising funds for the care of 182 underprivileged children aged 1 to 14 who are sheltered at the centre.
Campu Bank was the main sponsor, donating USD1,000, while Campu Securities Plc. contributed an additional USD500. These donations will support the centre, which is pivotal in offering shelter and care for vulnerable children.
To express their gratitude, the Orphan Branch Center and CSX presented certificates of appreciation to the Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of both companies, Mr. Ong Ming Teck and Mr. Peou Sovannarith, acknowledging their generous contributions to the cause.

The recognition reflects Campu Bank’s significant achievements and long-standing track record in the banking sector. Campu Bank’s resilience and innovative approaches have set a high standard, reinforcing its leadership in Cambodia’s financial industry.

Honouring a Pillar of Cambodia’s Banking Sector
On 27 October 2024, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr Tay Ah Lek, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Public Bank, Dr. Phai Touch, Independent Non-Executive Director of Campu Bank, Senior Management, selected Heads of Department and Branch Managers of Campu Bank gathered to pay their respects to the late His Excellency (H.E.) Dr. Chea Chanto, the Honorary Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), passed away on 25 October 2024 at 73. A wreath-laying ceremony took place at his residence in Phnom Penh.
During the ceremony, Tan Sri Tay Ah Lek expressed his deepest condolences to Her Excellency Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of NBC and the family. H.E. Dr. Chea Chanto’s legacy of dedication and leadership within Cambodia’s economy and banking sector left a profound impact, and his passing marks a significant loss for the nation.
The solemn occasion reflected the high regard in which the late Honorary Governor was held personally and professionally by colleagues and leaders across Cambodia’s financial landscape.



Sponsoring ‘My First Stock 2024’ Event
Campu Bank demonstrated its strong commitment to promoting Cambodia’s securities market by sponsoring the ‘My First Stock 2024’ event—the event, organised by the Cambodia Securities Exchange Co. Ltd (CSX), took place from 25 to 27 October 2024 at Aeon Mall Phnom Penh. Campu Bank contributed USD2,700 as the Silver Sponsor, alongside Campu Securities, which sponsored USD2,200 as the Bronze Sponsor. The event aimed to raise public awareness and engage potential investors with the local stock market.
Campu Bank, Campu Lonpac Insurance Plc. and AIA (Cambodia) Life Insurance set up a booth to promote their brands and services during the exhibition.
The highlight was the increase in the opening of online accounts, which enabled immediate, real-time access to trading platforms. A special promotion offering a 50% discount on brokerage fees for new investors opening accounts during the event was also introduced.
The event was graced by His Excellency (H.E.) Dr. Hean Sahib, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and H.E. Hong Sok Hour, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CSX. Annual Cambodia Banking Conference
As a gesture of support to the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), Campu Bank sponsored USD2,000 as a Gold Sponsor for the annual Cambodia Banking Conference 2024. The event, held at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Hotel from 22 to 23 August 2024, was themed ‘Strengthening Cooperation for Better Banking Sectors.’
This year’s theme aims to bring together industry experts, policymakers, and market leaders to highlight critical issues shaping the banking sector in Cambodia and provide a platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and strategic planning in view of the rapid evolution of technology, changing customer expectations, and global economic shifts. The event was well-received, with over 300 attendees, including representatives from the ASEAN Bankers Association.

A Visit to the Sosoro Museum
To support the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaign organised by the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), Campu Bank donated USD2,000 to fund educational visits for public school primary students in Phnom Penh. The students visited the Sosoro or Currency Museum to learn more about Cambodia’s rich economic, monetary and financial history.
The Sosoro Museum, established through the initiative of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), features a range of artifacts, documents, and interactive displays that trace the evolution of the Cambodian riel currency from ancient times to the modern era.

Historic Groundbreaking of Funan Techo Canal Project
Everyone simultaneously struck the gong at 9:00 a.m. to mark the nationwide launch of this exciting project, which is set to be completed by 2028.
Over 300 Campu Bank Group staff gathered at the Campu Bank Head Office on 5 August 2024 to celebrate the historic groundbreaking of the ‘Funan Techo Canal Construction’. The project was initiated by the Cambodian Government under the theme ‘Project of All Cambodians by Cambodians and for All Cambodians’, which was declared a public holiday by the Government.
The Funan Techno Canal is a new 180-km waterway designed to enhance urban infrastructure and flood management to revitalize Phnom Penh. While modern in design, the Funan Techno Canal’s name reflects its significance to Cambodia’s historical Funan Kingdom heritage.

Donating Personal Computers to the HUSK Organisation
As part of the Bank’s ongoing ESG initiatives, Campu Bank donated five (5) personal computers to the HUSK Organisation, a nongovernmental organisation (NGO) that works directly with the local communities in two villages in Siem Reap. The donation, made on 4 August 2024, aimed to improve the lives of Cambodian families and enhance computer literacy among underprivileged students.

Plant Trees, Save the World
As part of the Bank’s ongoing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiative, Campu Bank’s Senior Management staff and 26 staff members participated in a tree planting programme in Siem Reap on 4 August 2024. Fun Run Charity Drive for Kantha Boph Children’s Hospital
Campu Bank organised a 3km ‘Fun Run for Charity Drive’ on 4 August 2024 as part of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. A total of 634 staff participated in the event. Campu Bank raised USD 9,215, which was donated to the Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital. Founded by the late Dr. Richner, a Swiss Red Cross medical doctor, in 1992, the hospital operates five facilities in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. These hospitals provide free medical treatment to more than 500,000 children annually.
The donation was handed over by Mr. Ong Ming Teck, Campu Bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), to Mr. Tith Chamrouenreach, a representative from the Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital Fund, at the Sokha Siem Reap Resort & Convention Centre.


Celebrating Campu Bank’s 32nd Anniversary Dinner in Siem Reap
In support of the Government’s ‘Visit Siem Reap Year 2024’ campaign to promote the rich Cambodian culture, Campu Bank held its 32nd Anniversary Dinner celebration themed ‘The Khmer Legacy’ at the Sokha Siem Reap Resort & Convention Centre in Siem Reap on 3 August 2024. The dinner was attended by staff dressed in glamorous Khmer traditional outfits from the early kingdoms such as Funan, Chenla Angkor, and Longvek, as well as the current conventional modern style.

In support of the collaboration between Raksa Koma Foundation and Khmer Soviet Friendship Hospital in providing free eye and ear medical check-ups and treatment to the underprivileged and poor residents in the Prasat Sambo District, Kampong Thom Province from 10 to 16 August 2024.
Campu Bank donated USD5,000 to the Foundation on 2 August 2024, contributing to a healthier and clearer future for those in need.

‘Meet and Greet’ for Campu BrightStar Children Savings Accountholders
Campu Bank organised a ‘Meet and Greet’ event for Campu BrightStar Children Savings Accountholders which was held at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) on 20 July 2024.
The event featured a contest designed to promote the Bank’s BrightStar Children Savings Account in Khmer Riel and US Dollars and encourage young children to inculcate savings habits.
The contest, themed around environmental, social and governance (ESG), aimed to educate children on the importance of protecting the environment. It received overwhelming support, with participation from over 500 parents and children.

Blood Donation Drive
A total of 17 Campu Bank staff participated in the blood donation drive organised by the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) and the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA) at the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) on 16 July 2024 under the theme ‘Financial Sector Save Lives’.
It was indeed a demonstration of unity and compassion, reflecting the positive impact the collective action can have on a broader society by contributing to the noble cause of saving lives through the selfless act of blood donation.

Nodojiman Japanese Song Contest 2024
As part of the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) initiative, Campu Bank had sponsored prises worth in USD1,500 for the ‘Nodojiman Japanese Song Contest 2024’ for the fifth time. This event, held on 14 July 2024 at the Angkor Kizuna Hall, CJCC Building in Phnom Penh, was jointly organised by the Embassy of Japan, the Cambodia-Japanese Cooperation Centre (CJCC) and the Japan Foundation.
The Nodojiman Japanese Song Contest is a celebrated amateur singing contest showcasing Japanese folk songs. This event serves as a platform for Cambodian students studying Japanese to demonstrate their linguistic and musical talents and enhance the solidarity between Cambodia and Japan, one of the largest foreign investors.

Campu Bank donates to Passerelles Numeriques Cambodia
As part of the Bank’s ongoing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, Campu Bank donated five personal computers to Passerelles Numeriques Cambodia (PNC), a non-profit information technology specialized training institute in Phnom Penh, on 10 July 2024 to support its computer education classes.
Founded in 2005, PNC aims to provide technical education and professional training in the digital sector to young, potentially underprivileged students who possess a minimum high school diploma. On 13 September 2023, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Tay Ah Lek, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Public Bank, and Cambodian Public Bank Board Members paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Chea Chanto, the Honorary Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) after a 3-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

Donation of Personal Computers to Child Care Centre
As part of the Bank’s ongoing ESG initiatives, Campu Bank donated two refurbished personal computers to Child Care Centre Full Gospel Assembly Cambodia on 13 January 2023 with the hope that the contribution would enhance their learning opportunities and computer literacy.
The Child Care Centre, a non-profit organisation located in Chamkadong Village, Srok Chbamorn, Kampong Speu Province was founded in 1996 is currently providing shelter and sponsoring primary and high school education needs for a total of 56 street children, orphans and children from the poor.

Every Blood Donor is a Lifesaver
In conjunction with Campu Bank’s 30th Anniversary, Campu Bank collaborated with the National Blood Transfusion Centre (NBTC) held a blood donation campaign themed ‘Donate Blood Save Life’ at Campu Bank head office on 9 December 2022.
This was the second blood donation campaign organised as part of the Bank’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives by Campu Bank for all staff, customers and partners. The campaign was participated by about 100 staff and customers.
Mr. Ong Ming Teck, Campu Bank CEO and Mr. Ly Sovith, NBTC Deputy Director officiated the campaign which was widely broadcasted in the local television network and various social platforms and newspapers.

Campu Bank celebrated its 30th Anniversary Dinner themed ‘Celebrating 30 Years of Success – Black-Tie Night’ together with Campu Lonpac Insurance and Campu Securities at the Garden City Hotel, Phnom Penh on 3 December 2022. Campu Bank Head Office had donated five refurbished computers to Aziza’s Place Organization (APO) in Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh on 25 November 2022 to support the computer education classes for 50 underprivileged primary school students. APO is an organisation that provides day care shelter and language classes to the less fortunate.

Campu Bank Head Office continued their charity drive on 26 November 2022 when they gave financial assistance to refurbish 10 classrooms and the school library of the Phum Thom Primary School in Kandal Province and at the same time donated a recycled desktop computer, a new printer and study materials for 100 students worth USD2,500.

Campu Bank was proud to support the ‘Bankers’ Cycling 2022’ event jointly organised by Association of Bank in Cambodia and Cambodia Cycling Foundation (CCF) to promote the ‘Promote Khmer Riel and Sustainability of Banking Sector” in conjunction with ASEAN Savings Day.

On 15 October 2022, Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone and Kampong Speu Provincial Branches had jointly funded the setting–up of a children’s outdoor playground that were equipped with slides, swings and seesaws as well as donated study materials to 195 students of Pun Leu Thmey Primary School, Kampong Speu Province worth USD1,000.
The staff and students also carried out tree-planting activities in the school compound to raise awareness on the importance of protecting the environment.

Teeth Matters
Campu Bank collaborated with Roomchang Dental Clinic in creating awareness on dental care by organising a talk on ‘Orthodontic Treatment’ at Campu Bank head office on 8 October 2022.
The talk was conducted by Dr. Lao Channvattey, an eminent dental surgeon in Phnom Penh and received about a participation of 70 staff. Dr. Lao touched on the importance of regular checkups and proper techniques of brushing and flossing to maintain a good oral hygiene.

On 1 October 2022, Kampot Branch had donated five refurbished desktop computers and essential food stuff worth USD500 to Khmer Cultural Development Institute.
The Khmer Cultural Development Institute is a non-governmental and non-profit humanitarian organisation dedicated to care for the vulnerable and disadvantaged children and preservation of Cambodian art and culture. The Institute teaches traditional music and dance classes to the Institute members.

USD 5,000 to Cambodia Gala Charity Dinner for Mine Clearing
As the Gold Sponsor for ‘Cambodia Gala Charity Dinner for Mine Clearing’, Campu Bank contributed USD 5,000 to the charity.
The Gala Dinner was held on 1 August 2022 at the Nagaworld Hotel in Phnom Penh. Jointly organised by the Malaysian Business Chamber of Cambodia (MBCC) and Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA), the charity dinner was to raise funds to support the efforts by the Government of Cambodia to make the country mine-free by 2025.
The dinner was attended by His Excellency Hun Manet, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, His Excellency Ly Thuch, First Vice President of CMAA and His Excellency Eldeen Husaini, Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia as well as about 500 representatives from various government ministries, banks/financial institutions, members of MBCC and private enterprises.

Sihanouk Hospital Centre of Hope has been running its Breast Cancer Initiative since 2008 by providing affordable medical treatement to the vulnerable and underprivileged in Cambodia. The hospital is also an internationally recognised breast cancer hospital that offers education on early detection of cancer, screening and treatment, and training for medical doctors.

Collaboration with AIA Cambodia on Extension of Distribution Agreement
The extension of the partnership between Campu Bank and AIA reflected the strength and strong collaboration between these two market leaders in distribution of bancassurance products.
To date, more than 4,000 Campu Bank customers have benefited from this successful collaboration.
The extended Distribution Agreement was signed by Mr. Ong Ming Teck, CEO of Campu Bank with Mr. Andrew Loh Tse Yew, CEO of AIA. The signing ceremony was witnessed by valued customers, management staff and branch managers and AIA life planners.

Under first phase of the bancassurance lead generation, nine selected branches namely Phnom Penh Main, Olympic, Takhmao, Tek Thla, Mao Tse Toung, Toul Kork, Stueng Meanchey, Boeng Trabek and Saensokh together with Business Development Department in Head Office will undergo a sales coaching programme.
The programme consists a number of new initiatives and marketing strategies to incentivise all levels of branch staff and marketing officers to further boost lead generation in achieving a higher annualised new premium for 2022.
Another eight branches namely Phsar Kandal, Chroy Changva, PPSEZ, Chbar Ampov, Boeng Tumpun, Toul Tumpung, Street 271 and Preah Sihanouk Blvd were under phase two which was launched on 1 December 2021 while the remaining 14 branches were anticipated to be enrolled in 2022 first quarter.
